I thought I’d do something a little bit different and take myself back to my childhood, were we use to make chatterbox’s. for measurements and how to position hearts, please see my website.

First you make the chatterbox, and then you get someone to play with. This chatterbox has sentiments that you can share with that someone special. This is a great project to get the kids to help also. You only need basic supplies and you can decorate it any way you want. I had so much fun making this, and I hope you also have fun making it.

List of Supplies: –

  • Coloured Paper (photocopy paper weight is good for this) measuring 20cm square.
  • Contrasting paper for hearts (I used the same weight paper)
  • Glue
  • Scissors

For the Sentiments and words, you can either Google or make up your own.

  • Words (I just Google valentine and the were heaps of description words such as Cherish, Love etc)
  • Sentiments – I just Google valentines and there were heaps of sentiments that you could use. Or alternatively you could make your own)

Below is where I placed the hearts on the sheet of paper, so they are the right way when you open the surprise.

You can decorate this as your want, I used paint, heart stamps and inks, and a sharpie pen for doodling. I had so much fun creating, and decorating this ChatterBox, and the sky is the limit to make it your own.

I hope that you have enjoyed this project,

Until next time…..Happy crafting. 🙂
